As the tour takes about 45 minutes please try to arrive by 4:00 so you'll have time to enjoy everything.

Please note that when scheduled buses are touring the house, there could be a substantial wait before others can take the tour.

  • June 26 Pearl S. Buck Birthday Celebration
          On June 26, 1892 Pearl Comfort Sydenstricker was born in Hillsboro, WV. Please make plans to join us for a birthday celebration, on the anniversary of her birth, at 4:00pm with a reception and live music. In addition Dr. Peter Conn, author of Pearl S. Buck: A Cultural Biography will give a keynote address. This event is free to the public.
